I have also written a review about Cambridge, UK one of my other must-not-sees. Personally, I don’t understand all the hype about London. It’s crowded, noisy, DIRTY (I mean really, really dirty) and it’s got no character whatsoever. The architecture is just a mishmash of whichever style was prevalent at the time of construction. I can’t stand the London Eye. That was just the icing on the cake. It’s an eyesore and wherever you go in the city you see it. It’s also a VERY expensive city and you just don’t get much for your money. So, if you think about going to London but haven’t made up your mind yet, just DON’T, it’s not worth it. I recommend Budapest in Hungary, beautiful architecture, lovely people, stunning scenery, great food and dirt cheap. London’s no match for Budapest.

I lived in this city for six years and I have to say that those were the best years of my life. I absolutely adore this city. The scenery is just beautiful and the historic buildings are just breathtaking. Ok, it’s a big city and it’s quite crowded, traffic can be horrible and unfortunately there are many homeless people on the street but and it is important to be clear about this before you go. But if you’re looking for great food, lovely people, amazing architecture and beautiful scenery then this is the place to go.

I have spent the last three years in this city and I have to say that I absolutely hate it. It’s small but at the same time noisy, dirty, crowded with tourists, students, bikes, homeless people… There’s always some construction going on and the whole place is just absolutely chaotic. There are about two or three colleges worth visiting and King’s parade is certainly the best part of the city (not my taste though)... Apart from this little half-mile strech there is nothing more to see. Of course, if you’re interested in snobs and rich kids and where they spend there time ‘studying’ (yeah sure…) then Cambridge is definitely something for you. By the way, this is not just my opinion as the majority of my friends feel the same about this place. So, it’s just not worth it. Save your money or if you want to travel then go to Hungary. There are a lot of beautiful places there but what’s more important: REAL PEOPLE and not a bunch of faggots like here.
