Great times

I went to Vegas in April of ‘06 for the second time and had a blast! I’m not much on clubs, in fact I really hate them, but if you’re into that they are everywhere. Personally I’d rather relax at a bar and enjoy myself. I stayed at the Hooters resort this time, and it was OK. The rooms aren’t much in the way of decor, but if you’re like me and you aren’t in your room except to sleep, its a good cheap place to stay just less than 2 blocks from the strip. It kind of sounds like its far off, but it really isn’t. I went to many casinos while I was there, but I never had more fun than I did at the Hooters casino. It was just a laid back and fun atmosphere. You could sit at a table and know everyone there by the time you got up, and had the best time. I had more fun gambling and laughing with strangers than I did at any club my friend and I went to.

I went to Cancun 8 years ago with my girlfriend at the time. There was a lot to do there, and we saw a lot of families. There are many trips for group/individual enjoyment. The most bothersome thing we ran into was being pestered to buy things. We used a company called Vacation Express. I was a travel agent at the time, and they did a fantastic job with everything. They have all inclusive packages that include airfare, and some resorts allow you to go from hotel to hotel and eat for free. We stayed at the Palace resorts, and had a blast. There are desks set up in the lobbies to arrange side trips such as a jungle tour, Tenochtitlan, Snorkeling, etc.
