Phoenix I miss you!
In 2005 and early 2006 I was fortunate enough to make it to Phoenix (with the love of my life) several times.
The heat. The shopping. The galleries. The great food. Cowboy Ciao! Our place.
Things change. Now we wind up in small places in Western California. BBQ joints and Target. Don’t get me wrong. I love Target (we pronounce it Tar-jay so it sounds more upscale). But I miss Bloomies and Nordstrom. I miss great restuarants and especially Cowboy Ciao.
And if you find yourself in Scottsdale – do go to Cowboy Ciao. An eclectic menu if I’ve ever seen one and you cannot go wrong with a single dish.
Our schedules are off with the kids for this month. Holidays and different demands from the exes. He goes back to Phoenix this month (over the weekend of my birthday – sniffle!). I will be at home with my moppet.
Unless…..
My mother is well enough to give me the gift of caring for moppet over the weekend. If not, we are going to have to make plans to go for no other reason than just to go once our schedules are in sync again.
