Bourbon Street, French Quarter

laissez le bon roulement de périodes

Just not on Bourbon. It’s crowded and it stinks. Cruise the quarter? Absolutely. But stay off the beaten path.

Norman, Oklahoma

Great place to live but....

Beyond the university, there’s not a whole lot to see. Football only happens 6 days a year. The people are fabulous though, and the university does have a lot of cultural stuff on a regular basis. This is my town, don’t get me wrong. It’s a great place to raise my kids. I live walking distance from OU, so I can’t imagine being anywhere but right in central Norman. But with only tornadoes to offer for “the nature side” of you (and those things are notoriously unpredictable) you might plan for another destination. For instance Moore, OK is less than 10 miles north, and it offers great shopping experiences at Wal Mart, Kohls, and Teners (western outfitters.) Plus a bingo hall, so there ya go.

San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art, South of Market

When I was there they had a retrospective of Paul Klee. Need I say more?
