Every year there is a large Christian conference held here. As such, I’m wanting to go to a hillsong conference and with a lot of prodding from Church friends I’m starting to organise myself to make the trip this year.

That involves arranging to get a passport, stop spending so much money, and maybe even sell off some of my DVDs and books.

My small group at church goes up to Hanmer once a year or so. This year we had a smaller turnout than previous but that may have been good for me.
Contrary to prior years I actually spent a lot of time with my friends away from the house we stay in. I went walking into the main town with them in the morning, headed out to a river and watched some of them swim in the early afternoon and then played mini-golf (during which time I got a hole-in-one immediately after starting to play left-handed because I kept maxing out my putt count) with them in the middle of the afternoon.
I think I may even swim next year if I head up again. :O
