Preston, Idaho
Perhaps there are reasons to go . . .
On December 31,2005 my grandfather passed away. We had the funeral in Idaho Falls, where he lived, and then he was burried in Preston. The Preston cemetary is full of my family. My great grandfather had 13 children and most of them now are burried in the little Preston cemetary.
The thing is, it was the first time that all of Clifford’s grandchildren have been together. And I was so grateful for that. I’m not exactly close to any of them and now I regret that. A couple of them are cut from the same cloth that I am and getting reacquainted was wonderful. And to have the opportunity to be there for my grandmother and for my dad was really a blessing.
I’ll probably go to Preston again – - to see the stones.
