it’s not that bad (says she who is planning to move away as soon as possible), but I don’t know why anyone would come here as a tourist, unless they were researching the customs of the affluent in their natural habitat. Wouldn’t exactly be the most interesting place to travel.

I only went to Seattle because I was going to Belize, and my area’s passport agency was so backed up that there was no way we (my father and I) would receive our passports and be able to leave for our trip on time. Seattle’s passport office was the only passport agency in the country that was able to get us in for an appointment for a same-day passport.

I didn’t get to see much of the city, but I liked a lot of what I saw, and hope to go back again when I’m not rushed to get things done and can actually take the time to enjoy it!
