Thinking about going here in August or September- The flights are nice and affordable. New Zealand looks absolutely beautiful and I have some lovely New Zealand friends. I’m just not too sure it will feel like I’m overseas though.

It was lovely. Like most places in Europe we went to unfortunately it poured down raining…right in the middle of the day an insane storm blew over. So I never had the opportunity to sun bathe with the rich and famous. Never mind. The water is picture perfect and the pebbly beaches were something else.

I feel that Ireland could be cousins with Australia…whilst the scenery is vastly different (much greener)to my homeland the culture, people, sense of humour and love for sport are completely parallel. Me and three friends spent 5 days in this country. We drove from Dublin to Galway. Quite an adventure. It rained constantly and this was in the middle of summer-I was never without a jumper.

Just remember eating the yummiest dinner in this little bar…funnily enough the chef (who is not Australian) was wearing an Aussie soccer shirt. Food was amazing!

The day we were in Venice they were making the city pretty for the filming of the latest Bond movie. This place (apart from the slight smell and squillions of pigeons) lives up to it’s romance…delicious little streets, shops steeped in beauty, gelato to boot and of course the gondala rides. Go now before this iconic little place is swallowed by the water!

Take me back….I love the UK. Loved London…froze my butt off though (in summer as well) if your an Aussie sunbeam, you should take loads of clothes. I found London exciting, lovely, quaint, stunning, full of culture all rolled into 1. Did a short road trip around Ireland as well…that was gorgeous. Very cold as well!
