Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

The last time I was there was ages ago…lol!

I had the opportunity to visit Manchester and London for a few days. I enjoyed visiting Hyde Park, Piccadilly Square, and riding the train.

Why I want to go to this place

I have dreamed of going to Banff and hiking in those breathtaking Canadian Rockies that surround it ever since I was a young teenager.

A review of this place: Home Away from Home

I have been to the province of Ontario countless times. And almost every occasion that I have had to spend some time there has been wonderful.

I have been to Niagara Falls, Toronto, Kingston, Brockville, Ottawa, Barrie, North Bay, Sudbury, Sault Sainte Marie,...and all points in between.

The people and the scenery cannot be beat. Oh, and THE best fish and chips in the entire world can ONLY be had at Don’s Fish & Chips in Brockville.

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

The first time I visited Quebec I was a young boy. I went with my parents and maternal grandparents to see the World’s Fair in Montreal. In subsequent years I would visit Montreal again, and go for the first time to Quebec City and Hull.

Philippines

(in Asia)

Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place

Was there July/August 2007.

I had one of the best times of my life. Of course, stupid me, I came home with pneumonia. Oh well, the Philiipnes was awesome!

Everything “good” that you hear about the Philippines is absolutely true. The people are friendly, the food is yummy, and the scenery is often breathtaking.

Likewise, what you hear about Manila is true…well, mostly! It is your typical city of 10-million people. Lots of concrete sidewalks, congested traffic, absurdly psychotic drivers, colorful jeepneys, wierd smells, and mind-blowing poverty mixed with extravagent opulance. My advice on Manila is…make sure you leave it so that you can see the real Philippines!!
