Manchester isn’t impressive in the least, but what happens there once a year is. Bonnaroo!!!!!

I went here about 6 years ago and stayed at a fantastic beach-side hotel that was dirt cheap (2 bedroom, 4 beds, full kitchen).
Out of the touristy areas, but close enough to the border.

Just any old average town, Horridly clean and very country. Overbuilt riverfront that ruined the view from the Augusta side (Pepto Bismol Pink houses…. :( )

Best kept secret on the east coast. Folly is fantastic at any time of the year. It’s quiet, but there’s tons of stuff to do. No huge hotels or resorts, just a nice, laid back beach town. The pier is great!

Just got back, and I can say that the Dutch know how things should be done. The city was clean as a whistle, I never felt threatened, even in the deep of night, most crowded crowd. The mix of old and new architecture is incredible.
