Lady Jane

She is four years old and called Emily. I really would like to meet her someday in the future! It’s my dream to help as many underpriveledged people as i can. I feel so grateful that i can help her and one day would like to explore the land of Africa i am so fond of yet have never been too! I must have been in a past life or something because i have always had a massive affinity for the people of Africa!

I went the march before the world trade towers were destroyed and i must say it felt amazing on arival, like a fairytale. It was snowing. It’s so huge its really amazing to see. The american’s are so cool. It’s like a chat show when you walk down the street! The cafe’s are lovely and friendly, but the only downfall is that everywhere you go is fastfood, i prefer to see real food outlets. I went in macys and got stuck because the exit is on floor 1.5 and the lifts go 123 etc… to get the 1.5 you have to take the stairs! They trap you in there with there sales people. It was a good laugh trying to find the way out though :) There are some amazing sites and you feel a million dollars walking through new york, just because it’s so prosperous! I went in some top named stores like gucci and browsed, very entertaining! A shirt with a white splat of paint for like $3000 or something ridiculous lol. The toy store is amazing also, never seen anything like it, it’s like the biggest i’ve ever seen in my life! Probably the world! Yes the hotel was like a palace and the flight was really nice, i slept straight through the turbulence. Did have jet lag when i got back though and felt kind of sad to be back in the UK after being in such a romantic and dreamlike place. I had a great laugh with my freinds and will never forget this trip! I actually went with my sixth form as part of an outing as i was doing A level drama at the time. This is why we got to see loads of different things. Amazing expereince!! Would recommend Highly!!

The people in Denmark are lovely and although i’m not keen on the buildings in the city of copenhagen where i stayed, i feel that this is a great city to visit! Bit cold! Im more of a sun & sea person. Highly recommended for a weekend break however there are some lovely places to entertain yourself. Saw the little mermaid, that was lovely and the palace. Very nice indeed!

French is a lovely language, it’s a beautiful country and some of the people are pretty nice. But hey stay there as an au-pair like i did and you will see the reality. They hate the english and aren’t afraid to voice it. I don’t recommend the expereince of living with the french. They didn’t even pay me. However if you are going to france with friends it’s a ball and i think you will enjoy it very much! It’s got some lovely restaurants and the louve is somewhere i could stay allday among many other attractions. The beaches are beautiful and it’s just generally a amazing country. Not like the UK at all, has class! Go there for a taste of a romantic city :) Very nice indeed!

I didn’t like the weather it was cold and dull. The people also were not that freindly. It is a good one to expereince i guess, but if you are wanting a hot sunny holiday, don’t come here. It was a school trip for me. I’ve been better places to be honest. Oh and the language isn’t all that beautiful. I studied it in school, but i can’t say i liked it. I’d must prefer spanish or italien and the cultures are more to my taste. I’m grateful for the oppotunity to go here though as i want to see all parts of the world. I prefer the UK to be honest! Maybe i just went to the wrong part!

I throughly enjoyed this. I must have been about 12 though so i don’t have the most impressionable memories about it, but what i do remember was lovely, beautiful heat, scenary, people, culture, houses. Everything about spain is quaint and the language is wonderful! Recommend going if you having been, you won’t regret it!

Discussed the holiday to Kenya that i want to go on. I’m so excited. We are definately going for my 22nd Birthday. We are going to pay half each and go on safari together. The hotel is a 5 star for 13 nights.
