And I stumbled across a fantastic new toystore. I had driven past it, but forgotten that it was soon to be done, so I was pleasantly suprised on Thursday to be able to see the finished product. It is great! I am a big believer in the locally owned store. There is so much more charm, and care put into what they carry, and wonderful service. The owner is warm and friendly. She is very interested in finding local toymakers so she can carry their toys…..so if you are one, or know one, send them over there!

All you parents in Seattle, this place is worth the visit. The selection is excellent, and unique with a focus on imagination, learning, and lots of fun. With computers and t.v. taking over childrens’ minds, it is nice to find a place that encourages the art of playing with toys, and expanding the imagination. Also a store that carries lasting and timeless toys…...

I needed some muck boots and a riding helmet, so someone recommended heading out to the Grange. This is one of those charming local places that you drive by for a long time and never go in. It is located across from the XXX in Issaquah, and is definitely worth checking out. It is a hodgepodge of everything you could ever want to look at when it comes to living in the ‘country’. I spent far longer there than I thought I was going to! A little gem of a place….if you need housewares or live animals, fencing or fuel, clothing or gardening things, this is the place for you!

There is alot of italian ceramics around in Italy. Much of it looks pretty much the same, and fits the tourist gift needs. However, in this store I found beautiful unique pieces to bring home as gifts (which people loved!). I look forward to going back.
