I stayed here for a week last summer, with a super-cool family.. It was totally the best week I’ve ever spent away from home, and probably my favorite trip ever, because I made friends as well as saw the city from a local’s perspective. I still talk to the daughter, who was my age, on Livejournal :D

I really can’t emphasize enough how awesome home-stays are.. Don’t stay in hotels!! They’re boring!

Went, while I was in Denmark, for a day to Malmo, on Easter a few years back. They had a tree filled with eggs! And music, and dancing little children. Malmo’s really clean, and gorgeous.. and their McDonalds (Yes I went into an American fastfood chain whilst in another country.. It was mostly out of curiosity :D ) was half veggie!! Note this is like two years ago, when McD wasn’t even selling salads yet back in the states.. Took pictures with some statues, which there were a lot of- not just famous-person statues, but art sculpture as well.. It’s a shame I only spent a day, but I might go and stay in Sweden someday with relatives :D Maybe in a few years, when I can afford plane tickets.. (I be but a poor student) <3
