Louth, Lincolnshire
Well...
After living near the town for 18 years, and spending 7 years of my education at school in Louth, I’d say it isn’t too bad.

over 2 years agoSpent a day here in late October. Got the train from Toronto.
The taxi driver was friendly, took me right to the edge of the Horseshoe Falls. Took my breath away the moment I saw it.
Attractions there aren’t particulary cheap, but well worth the money, especially the Maid of the Mist. Also went to the ‘Journey Behind the Falls’. Still have my plastic ponchos from both!
After taking a trip to the top of the Skylon Tower and staring over at the American falls, I decided to walk across the Rainbow Bridge to the USA. Let’s just say the customs officers aren’t the friendliest people on the earth. But hey, they were just doing there job. Besides, i’m not American or Canadian (i’m British), and I did have long hair and a beard at the time…I probably would have been suspicious too. Was greeted with a smiling face when I got back to the Canadian side.
Definately worth visiting.
over 2 years agoSpent 5 days here in October 09. I was travelling across Canada, from Vancouver to Halifax, and Toronto was on my list of stops.
Whilst there, took a trip to Toronto Island, which was deserted…but still fun to explore. Also visited the CN Tower, which was great. It’s not cheap though so don’t go unless the weather is good. Visibility wasn’t too bad when I went.
Also got to witness something my family back in England were quite shocked at. The Toronto Zombie Walk! Hundreds of people dressed as zombies walking the streets. Really an amazing sight. Strange thing is the next day I was in Ottawa and the exact same thing was happening…
Definately worth visiting. Hopefully the weather will be better next time I go. It rained pretty much all the time.
