I went there a couple of years ago with my friend and a couple of her friends. There are so many activites there for everyone. What i enjoyed most was the boat ride and everyone was sicking “YMCA”. Be sure to take a peek inside Forest Gump’s mini museum, that is if they still have that there. It was great sitting on the summer log chair with the box of chocolate from the movie and remember him say “Life is like a box of chocolate ….”
over 6 years agoYou wouldnt help but respect the man and his legacy and what he stood for. I went to have a feel for what it meant to be MLK in the 60s. I was challenged ’cos here was a man who died for what he believed.
over 6 years agoI went there at night with my boyfriend and the lights were just gorgeous. it’s a beautiful sight and it was the closest i had ever been to a real ship. the ship that was docked at the harbor was huge. i would definitely would to go back because there was also another smaller ship were you could eat and take in the sights. but i loved the view that night.
