It was soooo beautiful, but I was young and I don’t think I appreciated it fully.

Okay, sure it helps to know some japanese, but don’t just assume that someone doesn’t speak English. I went with my sister and she kept talking about the old man behind the counter, I told her to stop but she insisted he probably didn’t speak english. So when we got up to the counter and he greated us with “Good evening Ladies, How may I help you?” in perfect english, she nearly died. He had a better vocabulary than I did!

OMG! Its my favorite city ever! Its beautiful!
P.S. If they still have the Fudge Shop there you should go to it! If you go to the entrance of the Cathedral and turn left and just go around that corner it should be there.
