Israel, Middle East

I went to Israel! Woo Hoo! It was wonderful and I hope to go back again soon. Extreme young peeps adventure holiday organized by Jonathan desert tours. I camped in the Ezuz desert for about 5 days and the rest of the holiday was later spent at a hotel in Jerusalem.

My Travel Advice

  • Ladies watch out when shopping in the Arabic quarters of Old Jerusalem, some of the men including shop keepers are very sleezy.
  • Keep it modest! When visiting religious sites dress modestly, legs should generally be covered, no bare arms, no cleavage on show. This also applies to a lot of places in Old Jerusalem in the Jewish and Arabic quarters. You don’t want to get spat on or beaten up. Israel may be the most westernized country in the Middle East but modernity and antiquity live side by side there.

I’d go here for the serenity and beauty. I wouldn’t mind going here with someone I love, or someone I’m dating. Or a good friend who also appreciates the outdoors like I do.
