This is a great community college. Small classes, good teachers. Nice place to work for a grad student who needs some extra money. I recommend this place over more expensive local universities if money is an issue.

This is my yoga studio! Only Bikram in Pittsburgh. Also, a much friendlier studio than Bikram places I’ve visited in other cities.

I was there for Handmade Arcade, a festival of lovely handmade things… and there were tanks in the background.

Delicious all-you-can-eat, with dessert. Go!

Once great vegetarian food including faux meat, now closed. For comparable food in the area, try Thai Cuisine.

Half-price Indian food from 4-6 and 9-10, and byob (like many places in PA). I eat here at least once/ week, after my evening classes.

Great beer and juicy, heaping veggie dogs. My class came here after our mid-term and had a helluva time.

Oh, yeah—root beer on tap.

Just saw a great performance of Oedipus the King, still running for a while, I believe.
