Knoxville, Tennessee

Came and never left

I have lived in 6 states and 2 countries since 2000. I came to school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and fell in love with it. Knoxville has so much to offer I don’t even know where to begin. If you are thinking about coming here and would like to know what to do and where to go, let me know!

Barcelona, Barcelona (Province)

Not enough time in the day

Barcelona is truly amazing. If you can find it, El Fondo is a great restaurant and really inexpensive. The chefs are ones in training so it is a nice place to eat and you get to experience a multi-course meal at a relativly inexpensive price. There are so many things to do there I would spend at least a week in order to try and see as much as possible

Valencia, Valencia (Province)

Study abroad

While I was studying abroad in Spain in the Fall of 2004 I lived in Valencia. I had never heard of Valencia until I began to research places in Spain. I would recommend going here 100%! Out of the three months I lived there, it only rained 3 times and there was almost always sunshine. I lived close to the Torres de Quart and couldn’t believe that towers built in the 15th century were still around! You can still see holes where they were hit by canon balls! I spent many nights at Cafe Marlen which was close to our university. Carlo was an awesome bartender and always doing some really cool tricks. I could go on and on about Valencia, but think I will stop. If you ever decide to go and want to know more, feel free to let me know!
