One of the most impressive places I’ve ever visited, I desperately want to go back some time soon.

Extremely beautiful, the West cemetery might be the most impressive, but you can’t get in on your own. You have to wait for the tour (which is usually fully booked, so reserve your places on time) or visit the East cemetery on the opposite side of the road. Less extravagant, the East side does have more famous people buried there (like Karl Marx), but it’s equally as pretty as the West side. Better yet, you’re free to wander about and really explore the place. Admission isn’t free though, but at only 2 pounds per person it’s not exactly expensive either.

I moved here because I fell in love with it and three years on I love it even more :)

Sadly, too expensive, so I won’t go back, but it was very impressive.

Wonderful city, I especially adore Quartier Latin and l’île de la Cité.

Half Scottish, have been visiting Scotland once a year ever since I was just a small baby – totally love the place.

One of the best cities in the world. My mother originally comes from Glasgow, actually, so the love for it just stayed in my blood.

For 19 years. Although I’m sure tourists will certainly like the town, it’s utterly boring and gradually becoming quite unsafe, especially in the town centre. You’re better off going to the Hague or Utrecht, both cities are just 20-30 minutes away from Gouda by train.
