Well, I was born and raised here. So there was some measure of effect on my life from it.
I love NY. NYC is a paragon to human achievement in modern western civilization. It is the modern equivalent of Hellenic Athens.
And there’s a shit load of incredible architecture
But then, I’m biased.
Ah, the Northern Kingdom. Beautiful.
I couldn’t live there though… I’m a flatlander.
Little known fact: it is actually against the law to walk “with your feet ten feet off of Beale.” Public safety measure, really.
Memphis seems to have seen better days, unfortunately. High crime rate and lots of ghettos. But every city has bad neighborhoods and the music is, as always, never short of fantastic, so whatevs. Good place.
