I’m flying into Dubrovnik for a 2 week holiday in Croatia in August :)

But, haven’t managed to book any places to stay yet – we are thinking of maybe spending a few days in Dubrovnik, then checking out the penisula around Orebic, and maybe an island or two, like Hvar…

Can anyone recommend quiet/nice/not-too-expensive places to stay in any of these places or others?

We hired an old Panda to cruise about the island, which was perfect for getting to some of the more remote locations.
