Very wet, rainy, boggy, terrible bugs, but spectacular. Actually one of the more MENTALLY demanding trips I’ve done.

I think...

…it was worth it. It was very rainy and cloudy, like the west coast of Washington. That Homer Tunnel is pretty freaky when you meet all the tour buses.

Grand Canyon National Park, Coconino County

My favorite place in the southwest

Love this place so much we honeymooned on the South Bass Trail. Excelent. Didn’t see a single soul for days and the trip to and from the trailhead is very adventuresome in a rental car with minimal clearance. I constantly think about the next time we can go back, and we usually do every year.
