this place does hold the world record for the most amount of pumkins gathered in one place. I have enjoyed the festival at least 3 or 4 times. It was always fun. The crowds are getting a little heavy and the way they set up the scaffolding for the pumpkin displays in 2006 didin’t allow for very good people traffic flow. I think this might be my last year goin. It is is on my goal list and I hope to make it a bang of a year but that might be the last for me.

There is so much to see between the Capital and the Smithsonian you can’t get bored. Highly recommended as acheap vacation since the smithsonian is free.

There wasn’t a lot to do in Salt Lake City so I went to see the Tabernacle. It was an interesting place with great acoustics. I don’t think I would go back other than for the nice old hotel in town.

pack your best walking shoes cause man o man there is so much to see!

this is a very small park, you are able to do the whole thing in a day or two. It was nice but I prefer Orlando

the weather changes at the drop of a dime so be prepared and have a coat with you….and an umbrella…..and a t-shirt

The countryside was the most amazing green I had ever seen. It went on for miles and miles. I was impressed with the serenity and calm.

We arrived here just after Christmas and stayed on through the New Year Celebration “Sylvester” It was amazing. The amount of people and the spiced wine, champagne, beer and sausage and onions that they were cooking in the street made you mouth water. The streets of the Graben are always closed off to traffic and the amount of people that gathered there was amazing. Midnight struck adn teh firecrackers and fireworks were loud but a little dangerous. The thing that suprised me the mosst was that when we woke up, the whoel place was clean like nothing had happened. What a way to spend the new year.

It felt like Venice and watch out for those bicycles!! This was a beautiful ride through the countryside to arrive at this amazing place, Venice of the North, pick up your wooden shoes and learn about the real traditions behind them.

down one fo the alleyways off of St. Peters Square is a quaint little shop selliing Masks for Mardi Gras, they are beautiful. Look for it.
