Still in Afghanistan
I’m still here in Afghanistan. Life here for the locals moves at a very slow pace. They don’t have too many luxuries here. Actually, I take that back. They don’t have any luxuries here (except maybe for the very few well-connected people). Most people have no electricity, no running water, and hardly anything to eat. The best thing about being here is when I get the chance to go on humanitarian missions. The looks on the kids’ faces when we go to the villages makes all the effort worth it. I would post some of the pictures I took of the kids, but I’m not allowed. I guess I’ll just post this snapshot that I took of one of the places instead.
