Can’t wait to go back again!

It was raining and there were pink blossoms on the trees. I couldn’t tell if they were cherry blossoms. The sphere wasn’t as big as I expected although it was indeed impressive. Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera so I wasn’t able to take any photos. The whole park was very serene and peaceful.

I wrote my country report on Iceland. In the report I analyzed its political institutions but of course came upon a lot of information about its tourism. The fact that Iceland is so remote yet so beautiful makes it a cool destination.

Inpired by the movie 天下无贼. I always wanted to check out Tibet, especially Lhasa. I’m currently taking a class on Tibetan film which shows the natural and spiritual beauty of the place. This will be a very good experience, I bet.

Inspired by Men in Black. It looks really cool.

I love spicy food and traveling. I’ve heard good things about the hotpot here as well as the sightseeing opportunies.

Medieval history class influence. I actually wrote a paper analyzing Venice’s stance against the church. In the paper I also looked at art movements. Those paintings filled with light and wonder inspired me to make the trip. Of course, the romantic associations with the place is a draw.

After studying so much medieval history, I’d like to actually make the walking trip to here like many pilgrims during the old times. Many people today make the trip as a chance to reflect on life. Youths today do not have any passage rituals, it’s really too bad.
