A tip I have about this place — 2 years ago
The hotel is extravagent, but maybe in a more modern way. What it lacks in stateliness it makes up for in uniqueness. The massive hotel seemingly spans time and place from its New Orleans-themed pod to one mildly resembling Italy. It’s interesting to see the archetectural arrangement, which is horizontal rather than vertical. It’s not really an extraordinary example of one style of archetecture; it’s almost like they just threw it up and let Opryland Hotel grandeur do what it may.
Definitely the best time to visit is the holiday season, for its grandiose decor. However, don’t make a special trip; if you’re shopping at Opry Mills, just pop by next door.
