unlike what comes on the mdia, this is all a politica poropaganda, sudan is a beautiful country and most important beautiful people, thier inner beauty glow in the darkest night, and thier friendly nature make you feel welcomed more than home, u dont need to know to enter people heart you just say SALAM ALLAYKOM (peace be upon you).
i fyou go to sudan u mustnt expect much in both side, sudan is a developing country which has been torn out by wars for several decads. it is changing to the better definetly but yet not fastly growing.
at the same time it is not the crude wild image promoted in the t.v there are som much historical and natural attraction , itis aslo rich in wildlife and organic food, however u dont expect to see lions strallig down town, and it is not all deseret, so just for information THE RIVER NILE is formed in khartoun the capital city of sudan, so it has great similarity to egypt but less crowded.
if you relly want to enjoy sudan u must have at least some one you know there to tour you around the intresting places in the city khartoum, though many tourist dont know of the man facilities available there.
