Why I want to go to this place — 1 year ago
i am finally getting the hell out of the south, and portland has always been my desired destination, be it from my interactions with train-hoppers and squatters in new orleans, the stories from my friends who have or still do live there, the impeccable metro bus system… seattle is too expensive and i have to pick up a kiss left for me in a fountain downtown. six months from now, i should hopefully be on my way.
i know it’s like the scene/sub-culture mecca, but i don’t care.
