Iowa

I wanted to go for a conference in Iowa City at the end of September. I didn’t go. Went to Houston for my high school US branch reunion instead.

first, I don’t know how to find funding to go, or maybe I’m not going after all the avenues I know.
second, I’m not as gung-ho about the conference anymore.
third, it overlaps with my 10th secondary-school reunion weekend a thousand miles away in Texas.

I just added this to my 43places because there’s a conference there that I hope to attend.
I know nothing about Iowa (except that there’s car racing in Des Moines)
I had trouble finding Iowa on the map. It’s probably quiet.
Quiet is good.
