I went to Cologne to watch Celtic play them in the UEFA Cup in the early 90s. We lost 2-0 but won the return leg 3-0 (McStay, Creaney and Collins scored if I remember, what a game).
The German people are very friendly, and like us Scots they enjoy their bear and their meat. I had my first bear in Cologne (I was 13). I couldn’t believe my Dad let me.
