okay i have another tip that i forgot lol

if you like mexican food.. im not sure if theres one in detroit but there is one in lincoln park outside of melvindale which both are outside ofdetroit... well anyways theres a great resteraunt called panchos... best mexican food ever.. its run by a family but i think theyre getting a few other resteraunts around the downriver area

lol welll i live in Lincoln Park, MI right by Detroit. So ofcourse ive been there plenty of times…. first thing i gotta say….. not an amazing place! okay my fellow downriver folk will hate me for saying this but come on.. unless you HAVE to go there…. why would you? theres nothing there but burnt down buildings hookers drug dealers and pimps… of course theres the casinos but im not a gambler so i dont know how great those are. But if you MUST come to detroit.. here are some tips!

Dont point... this goes back to when your mommy said it was rude and itll hurt someones feelings..... only this time im saying its dangerous and make someone that most likely has a gun mad

WATCH WHAT COLLORS YOU WEAR! i dont know all the gang collors but i know one only because its always been my favorite collor combination... red and black.. dont wear it

DO NOT blink your lights at ANYONE.... it is somehow a gang sign or something

At red lights stop a few feet behind the person infront of you

If its not summer time.. bring a heavy jacket

and this one is just a lil friendly joke from detroiters from when everyone was coming here for the superbowl...
If you think the people of detroit are friendly and are just waving to you.... DONT WAVE BACK... DONT LOOK... KEEP GOING STRAIGHT... RUN IF NECCISARY.. THEY HAVE A GUN AND WILL USE IT!

but other than that detroits not that bad of a place.. have fun :)
