We're coming up for a play on our anniversary. Looking for a really nice hotel, preferably w/in walking distance of the Performing Arts Complex. Recommendation?

before they built Coors Field, lower downtown (DON’T fucking call it LoDo) used to be like heaven. Paris on the Platte was the coolest coffee shop ever, there was really good graffiti to be found, and on and on. Now it’s all cleaned up and boring.
The city as a whole, these days, is all right. Good theatre scene, and I wish it was closer for that reason. But otherwise, there’s not much to see here. I’m there all the time, because my family is nearby and my brother lives in Aurora. But it’s not at all the same.
