On 103 Ave and 112 St, right by Grant Mac. I just went there for dinner, and it’s $$ but their Fortune Cookie dessert, warm chocolate chip cookies with a cup of foaming cardamom and ginger-flavoured milk and pistachio dust, is to die for.

PS Does anyone know where to go get a used bike?

I live in Toronto at the moment, studying International Development at York, but I do love my hometown. It’s funny; it’s got all these things that make you feel like you’re in a big city, but then you go down Whyte Ave on a Saturday night and you’re guaranteed to run into someone you know at Savoy. I love the restaurants (even the weird ones like Culina) and the beautiful theatre community (just small enough to be intimate and gorgeously vibrant) and riding my bike through Strathcona on summer mornings. The home of The Running Room (v. evil), Vic (what an excellent school), and West Edmonton Mall (we apologise). I am proud to say I come from here.
