If you ever visit Brazil, sure go to Rio & Sao Paulo. But you won’t see everything until you’ve been to Southern Brazil starting at the state of Parana, then on down south to Rio Grande do Sul. You will see a different landscape, people and country altogether.
In the very northeast, there is some splendid natural beauty. If you’re the type of person that detest seeing poverty, avoid Sao Paulo and Rio. Your chances of getting mugged or killed is present.
Even the local people live scared of going out at night.
Another place worth visiting is Minas Gerais. It has lots of hills and beautiful history and scenery. But definitely visit Southern Brazil. It will make your trip more enjoyable and you willsee a lot of natural beauty.
In the very top of the country, there is beauty like this.
