Question: suggestions for a restaurant — 2 years ago
i am trying to find a restaurant for a little dinner type thing with some friends…
it will be on a monday night and there might be anywhere from five people to 15 people [and i probably won’t know until everyone’s there]... so basically a place that’s big enough that you don’t need reservations and they won’t care how many people do/don’t show up. also, centrally located and not too expensive. oh – and of course the food should be super tasty.
i was originally going to do this at shanghai garden but there is a stupid baseball game at 7 that day and i worry that some friends might not be up for dealing with ID traffic/congestion.
any ideas?

on opening day some friends and i got together to go and tour it. soooo many ohhhhsss and ahhhhhssss. and then we went to dim sum.
this is one of the first places i take out of town visitors.
it’s beautiful and sooooo many books, maps and places to get lost.
