Where can I find old buildings, streets and areas in Shanghai? I am not really interested in seeing how modern it was, but more interested in seeing what it was once.. especially in during the time when Shanghai was divided up by all the Western nations  — 1 year ago

Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

The opportunity arrived sooner than I think.

My tickets are booked and I am going to Beijing, then Xi’an, then Shanghai for about 10 days. I am really excited!

Goodness me – I have (somewhat) a language advantage but have never visited China. I wanted to see the terracotta warrirors, the Great Wall, the ancient buddhist carvings..the Forbidden city.. well, anything to do with China’s rich and long dynastical history.. oh yes, and the food.. THE FOOD..
