There are a huge number of trails in the himalayas that are highly demanding and treacherous. One such trail is called the Kalindhi Pass trek which equates to basic mountaineering. This pic is from the base of the Kalindhi peak at 18300 feet. The pass itself is 18500 feet and cannot be crossed after 9AM since the pass and the glaciers around it start melting rapidly.
