Step 3: buy tickets from DC to Seattle, COMPLETE! So I sort of got out of sequence (still need to buy tickets from London to Athens), but whatever…

I’m kind of regretting I told my friend I would attend her wedding…flying from DC to Seattle before heading on to London is going seriously out of my way.

Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

In June I am quitting my job and leaving for Europe for an undetermined amount of time, and Greece will be my first stop in order to meet up with some friends who will already be over there. Then Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia. Then back to Turkey for a 500km walk, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Poland. Then maybe Morocco? Then Australia. All the hard work I’ve done this last year saving up the money will be well repaid in glorious, uninhibited travel.

Destinations in Greece include Athens, Paros, Santorini, and perhaps Crete. Unfortunately we don’t have much time before we have to move on.
