I took the Overlander from Auckland to Wellington during the day...  — 2 years ago

..and while I wouldn’t necessarily recommend doing this more than once, you absolutely MUST do it once—even if you are a native to this country. It’s entrancing.

In the autumn, the opportunities to chase photographs of rainbows from dusk to dawn is unprecedented.
