Traveled to attend Regonal Conference on Women Living with AUDS and to meet my Cuban friend who was invited on a fully paid trip. Sadly, Hurricane Wilman intervened flooding her house, and causing all her paperwork asking for permission to the Cuban governmnet to fall behind. Major flooding in her home ruined everthing and she was taken to a hospital by boat on an oxygen mask. A far cry from what I had planned for her in San Salvador where, besides meeting with other HIV women from South American, she could have shopped for her kids and her self. Failed this time, but I will not give up.
