Amazing, beautiful. — 2 years ago
I went here a few years ago and loved every minute of it. While there is a lot of poverty, the scenery and the beaches are amazing. Stray dogs wander the streets (we actually took in a puppy and gave it shots and medical treatment and a good home) that are fed sometimes by local restaurants. There was a pizzeria we often went to that was right on the beach where the dogs would come up and we’d feed them scraps. The octopus they served cam straight from the ocean, I actually got to see a woman gut and clean one. People walk the beaches selling jewelry, food, clothing, and anything you could think of. The weather was gorgeous and, needless to say, HOT. I would love to go back there one day.
