we were there just a few months ago, doing a road trip in CA. The trees are huge. words, pictures, nothing really can carry the weight of actually seeing these things. we also saw crystal cave, and the beautiful waterfall not far from the entrance to the cave. Finally, we saw a black bear, near one of the visitors centers, as you head north out of the park (towards king’s canyon).
