This is what happens when a government sticks a bunch of cement high-rise hotels along a beach and then ignores it for about 40 years. We were stuck staying here one night because of a flight/rental house time discrepancy and it was horrible. The hotel (Dorado) was boring, the “mall” is sad, and the beaches were packed with white people. You could hardly even tell you were in Mexico.
