Why I want to go to this place — 2 years ago
I’ve traveled throughout China and still haven’t been to Guilin yet, and I know I’m missing out on one of the most beautiful places in China. My Chinese tutor would talk non-stop about Guilin. She kept telling me that I haven’t seen China until I’ve been to Guilin. Additionally, every friend that has gone has had an amazing time. I recently found the Yangshuo Mountain Retreat while surfing the Net and mentioned it to a couple of friends this summer, as they had some time off. They went and said it was one of the best places they’d ever been to in China. I was so jealous when I read their email because I would’ve loved to join them. Alas, I’ll have to wait until later this year, but you can bet that I will be checking into one of the guesthouses for a week of R&R and nature loving.
