I can’t say enough about the cuisine in this region—porcini, chestnuts, wild boar, venison, tordelli, amazingly, fresh fish and seafood even in the mountains. The colline lucchesi wine is quite delicious too. Compared to the rest of tuscany, dining in the bagni di lucca area is a bargain!
