when they charge 40RS for Fanta, you know its geared for tourists. its about 12RS in the villages!
it seems as though the shopkeeps harass a bit less when you look like you’ve been there awhile – buy some clothes! explore the smaller streets! learn how to haggle!
the pub just right and up the stairs of Kathmandu Guest House has some pretty good live music. i also quite liked KGH itself.
