Peru

I’ve been in Peru for the second time in last October to December, I still think it’s a great place with incredible landscapes and also very interesting archaeological sites. There are four cities I loved : first, Arequipa, which has a special atmosphere and incredibly friendly people. In second comes Chiclayo, which is not properly a pretty town but here again people is incredibly friendly (I don’t think the same of Trujillo). Third ex-aequo I like Cusco and Tarma very much, with this unique mix of Andean and urban spirit that you can’t find anywhere else.
Except from these 4 cities, I must say that I prefer other South American countries, beginning with Bolivia.

1st trip in latam, but i’ll come back! I didn’t like Lima much, but I loved Trujillo for pre-inca cultures, Arequipa and its impressive Misti volcano and Canion de la Colca, and of course Cusco, where I spent 2 weeks with the children of the “Centro Resbalosa”. Unforgettable!
