The first time I went to this place — 1 year ago
I been to Iraq three times singing in a band for the troops. I was a bit scared to go to Iraq at first, but after a little while I got over it. It turned out to be a lot of fun. I have seen and done things many people never will. I’ve ridden in many a Black Hawk by now, fired several kinds of weapons, seen an ancient ziggurat, and lived through 130 degree weather. I really didn’t get exposed to Iraqi culture at all, though. Always on military bases.
