We went here for 5 days and just returned. We combined it with a trip to Amsterdam. We spent all of the time in Paris at a great hotel – the Westin Paris. We were upgraded to a great suite overlooking Jardin Tuilleries and the Eiffel Tower. Paris wasn’t as “kid-friendly” as some other European cities, but we had a great time. We did the obvious – Eiffel, Notre Dame, etc – but spent most of our time outside as opposed to waiting in the lines with kids. We also enjoyed our time in some of the local parks – Luxembourg sticks out – that had great carousels and fantastic playgrounds.

I’m going to Paris from 20 Oct thru 25 Oct. I can’t wait to go. I’m hoping (and expecting) that the weather will be mild. The kids will love it. I plan to consume a bottle of great French wine – St Estephe’s and St Julien’s as well as some red Burgundy each day.
